Jens Georg BACHMANN

Milestones

Formative. Pioneering.

His artistic journey has taken him from the Juilliard School in New York to the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the State Operas of Berlin, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, and Stockholm, as well as numerous German radio and symphony orchestras. As an assistant to James Levine, Christoph von Dohnányi, and Alan Gilbert, he gained early and significant insights at the highest international level.

Repertoire

Versatile. Innovative.

He possesses a wide-ranging repertoire—from Baroque to contemporary music—and is equally at home in opera and on the concert stage. Bachmann regularly develops innovative outreach formats and is committed to nurturing young talent as well as teaching at the university level, including at New York University and the State University of New York.
