Jens Georg Bachmann is an experienced opera and concert conductor with an international profile, a distinctive artistic voice, and solid leadership expertise. Until 2025, he served as General Music Director of the Eduard von Winterstein Theater and Principal Conductor of the Erzgebirgische Philharmonie. Previously, he was Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, where he successfully implemented program reforms, expanded the audience base, and enhanced the orchestra’s media presence.
